Life Everlasting ReviewIn this well researched book, many questions to scripture that I have had for along time were answered. I just wish I had found it sooner! I enjoyed the text and the footnotes alike. I found it very readable and compelling in both question and argument. I believe it would be of tremendous comfort to those in need of answers to "life after death" questions, and as well as the eternal "why are we here" question. I was greatful that a friend recommended it to me.
Although this book is written from an LDS point of view, I think it would be of benefit to anyone interested in the subject.Life Everlasting Overview

The Infinite Atonement ReviewMr. Callister gives us a thoughtful and lyrical view of the most important event in human history. The book is well-written and easy to understand. What I especially appreciate, however, is Mr. Callister's sensitive, obviously hard-won personal testimony of Jesus Christ. His conclusions come from years of perceptive living combined with a conscious effort to understand what it means to be redeemed. I highly recommend this book. It is one of the best efforts by any Latter-day Saint. Perhaps some of the doctrine is not familiar to people of different faiths. That does invalidate the thought and beautiful testimony of the writer.The Infinite Atonement Overview

Monson's ancestry through his childhood and then into his life as a general authority. However, the life she followed is so remarkable that the book was hard to put down. It is filled with uncountable stories, some short, some lengthy, that give the reader faith and hope. A choice line reveals that immediately after Thomas S. Monson's call to the apostleship, he went home and mowed the lawn. A majestic chapter deals with Elder Monson's years of service with the East Germans. A progressive thread is the passing of senior apostles, interlaced with the fact that Tom Monson was seventeen years younger than the next junior apostle, Gordon B. Hinckley. Many details in the book reveal that Thomas S. Monson was a humble man, led by the Lord to perform acts of greatness, and yet his favorite breakfast is Wheaties.
