Resume Success: Insider Secrets to Building the Resume Top Companies LOVE ReviewOkay, this book was NOT 'The Life of Pi' or 'The Kite Runner'. It did little to move me or change my outlook on life. It IS, after all, just a book on resumes. Having said that, though, it was a very comfortable read somehow, and the author seemed to go out of his way to make a crappy process less so. I think that due to the nature of such a book I'd be hard pressed to give it a 5 star rating, but I did feel that the style of presentation, which was conversational and not dull, really and truly did make a difference. I bought it to give to my sister-in-law who's a marketing manager, not really knowing if I'd done the right thing. On a rack of 30+ resume books it just seemed more approachable and well-researched. She's since commented that of the 4 books of its type she has its the most useful and current, and practically gushed, which boosts my 'Awesome Ted' rating in the family significantly!!
