Salesforce.com: High-impact Strategies - What You Need to Know: Definitions, Adoptions, Impact, Benefits, Maturity, Vendors ReviewIn my personal opinion, the title and description of the book do not match its content. Although it contains some Salesforce.com related information, I don't think it can be considered a Salesforce.com book as the Title implies, at least my expectation from the book was to get more on the Salesforce.com side than anything else.
I am not saying it is a bad or horrendous book, simply put the Author managed to concentrate interesting and relevant material, particularly for people interested in getting some specifics for quite a few Companies that some way or another have had an impact on IT, but I would not recommend this book for any Salesforce.com detailed info (configuration, development, etc), there are quite a few more books out there that are totally Salesforce.com oriented, this is no one of them.
In my opinion, this sentence does not allow with the content: Salesforce.com: High-impact Strategies - What You Need to Know: Definitions, Adoptions, Impact, Benefits, Maturity, Vendors
On the other hand a really like the detailed summary on each Company included in the book, I think it provides relevant information.
